Webinar Series – I-HARP™, Practitioner Course: Elective 2 – Managing Care Teams Remotely.
December 3, 2025 – Elective 2 – Managing Care Teams Remotely
OBJECTIVE: Discover how to create genuine human connection and emotional safety when physical presence isn’t possible. This elective explores the heart of remote support – how tone, pacing, and presence through voice alone can build trust and bring calm in moments of crisis. Through real experiences shared by Foundation team members, participants will learn how compassion, deep listening, and sensitivity transform a simple phone call into a lifeline for survivors and their families.
FEATURING INSIGHTS FROM:
Foundation Leader Anna, who shares how readiness, call-center activation, and close coordination with company leadership lay the groundwork for effective responses; Captain Susan, who reflects on the value of checklists, timely follow-ups, reliable technology, and navigating rumors or media pressure with professionalism; Rose, who highlights the art of building connection by phone through tone, empathy, and mindful self-care; and Susan Funk, who offers a first-time responder’s perspective on the emotional connections formed during the wildfire response and the lessons learned from supporting survivors remotely.
