Jeff Morgan is Chairman and Co-Founder of the Foundation and President & CEO of the Foundation’s partner Aviem International, Inc. Aviem is a full service emergency services company dedicated to helping companies prepare for disaster with planning, consulting, training, exercises, and disaster support services.

CAROLYN V. COARSEY, Ph.D.
Dr. Carolyn V. Coarsey is the President and Co-Founder of the Foundation. She is the President of Higher Resources, Inc., and serves as Executive Vice President of Corporate Philosophy and Family Assistance Programs for Aviem International, Inc.

ANA MARIA DUMITRU
Ana is the Foundation’s Vice President, Client Services and Support. She was an experienced former Cruise Line Shipboard Manager having deployed and supervised hundreds of CareTeam activations onboard and shoreside in her tenure. Her responsibilities also included overseeing the Hotel Operations on board as needed supervising the largest team onboard. She was selected to lead new ship start-ups and take delivery of several vessels in Europe.

KELLY MCKELVEY
Kelly is Aviem International, Inc. and Family Assistance Foundation’s Vice President of Finance. Kelly moved to Georgia at the age of nine and grew up in Stone Mountain, GA. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’ degree in Accounting, passed the CPA exam, and accepted a position at Deloitte & Touche public accounting firm. She worked in public and private accounting for the next eight years and then took a break to raise her three boys.
Kristine Budaha
Kristine brings to the table over ten years of experience onboard cruise ships, starting as a Guest Services associate and completing her carrier at sea as a Fleet Manager of onboard hotel operations. One of her tasks throughout her time on board was to coordinate and provide the Care Team assistance. She was deployed many times as a Care Team member and coordinated numerous activations.
ANDREA CHERNESKY
Originally from the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada, Andrea is a former cruise line professional currently residing in Florida. She joined the Foundation team in 2020 and is Manager, Client Operations and Communications

Adriana Hurtado
Adriana joined Foundation family as a care team member in 2017 and is now Operations Support Specialist. She is passionate about the mission of AVIEM and the Family Assistance Education and Research Foundation and feels honored to be a part of this wonderful organization.
CHERI JOHNSON
Cheri is Manager of Internal Operations for Aviem International, Inc. She graduated from Missouri State with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has worked in various positions over the years. Most recently in Administrative & Executive Assistant roles after being a stay at home mom for nearly 10 years. Cheri was born and raised in the Kansas City area where she lives with her husband of 19 years and their 2 children.

MIKE KAVANAUGH
Mike Kavanagh is the Foundation’s Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand. Mike is a 39-year veteran of the airline industry in New Zealand and Australia. He was employed by Singapore Airlines from 1976 until his department was outsourced in 2007. A passenger transport enthusiast, he actively participated in the company’s growth into one of the industry’s most admired carriers.

Esthea lanker
Esthea was born and raised in South Africa, spent many years working aboard cruise lines where she met her husband. She joined Aviem & the Foundation in 2020 and is currently Manager, Client Services and Support.

ROSANGELA MAXWELL
Rosangela joined the Foundation as Manager of Member Services – The Americas. Prior to joining the Foundation she led Guest Relations teams on board cruise ships for many years, ensuring optimum customer service, complaint resolution, and adherence to protocols. Rosangela has participated in multiple Care Team and emergency preparedness training programs.

SANDRA NOVAK
Sandra Novak is a social worker who divides her time between a clinical practice in Hollywood, Florida and as Director, Care Team Operations for Aviem International and the Family Assistance Foundation. Sandra is also a trainer/facilitator of family assistance and employee support programs for Aviem International and the Family Assistance Foundation.
