SUSAN FUNK has been working as a highly respected member of the Oregon film community for over 35 years. Over her career Susan has worked her way up from actor in front of the camera to positions as a Production Manager, Assistant Director, and Casting Professional. Budgeting and accounting has always played a part in her work from her first job at 18 as an accounting clerk with the Indian Health Service and through her work in the film industry; creating and managing budgets for music videos, independent films, tv series, and features. In this capacity Susan has been responsible for crewing and managing projects of all sizes, from small music videos to feature films and groups of 150 background actors at any given time. Some projects you may recognize are “The Librarians” series, “Men of Honor” film, “Feast of Love” film, “Wonder Woman 1984” film, “Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio” film, among many others. She brings these management and accounting skills to her work with Aviem and the Family Assistance Education & Research Foundation. Susan finds that the work we do is both important and fulfilling.
