Topic Objectives

Participants will learn the following:

1. Employees and crew members on duty at the time their company experiences a crisis and who are at risk for injury or death should be treated with the same support as the public;
2. Checklists for all survivors at the first level of the hierarchy should include food, water, warm, dry clothing, shelter, access to medical care, all physical necessities, and human connection.
3. Interviews with crew members who were on duty during a multi-casualty crisis where others were killed and injured have often provided examples where they put the life safety of their customers before their own.
